Target 7: Joining Sentences with Conjunctions
Bonus!
Task 2
The ancient Egyptians believed in life after death. They thought
that when they died, they would make a journey to another world
where they would lead a new life. They believed that they had to
preserve their bodies because they thought they needed them for
their next life.
Below is an explanation of how the bodies were preserved, but the sentences are
all very short. Rewrite the text making it more interesting by joining some of the
sentences with conjunctions to make compound sentences. Try to use different
conjunctions.
Ancient Egyptians preserved bodies. It was a long process. It took about 70 days.
