Task 1: Adjectives (1 Point)
A. Here is a selection of adjectives that can be used of ‘big’. Allow other
sensible answers.

sensible answers.

1. We looked out of the tiny window and saw a fabulous view of the beautiful
lake.
2. Lucky Mr Smith has won a new car in the weekly raffle.
3. It was a cold, wintery day and the sky was grey and cloudy.
4. I saw a huge, black, hairy spider crawl under my wooden table.
5. Fred’s old barn is dark and spooky but Joe’s old barn is darker and spookier.
(There are twenty adjectives.)
