B. Rewrite the sentences, putting all the verbs in the past tense and then in the
future tense.
1. PRESENT TENSE: Mr Chan mends computers and sells software.
PAST TENSE: Mr Chan mended computers and sold software.
FUTURE TENSE: Mr Chan will mend computers and will sell software.
(Also acceptable: Mr Chan will mend computers and sell software.)
2. PRESENT TENSE: Lee says that he wants to be in our team.
PAST TENSE: Lee said that he wanted to be in our team.
FUTURE TENSE: Lee will say that he will want to be in our team.
3. PRESENT TENSE: The work is hard and I am tired.
PAST TENSE: The work was hard and I was tired.
FUTURE TENSE: The work will be hard and I will be tired.
