Hey, have I told you that on my birthday, in two days time, my
friends are joining me on a train journey to York. We will be
travelling after lunch on Thursday and staying until Sunday. I will be
sitting by my friend, Gina, during the journey. We are going down
the River Ouse in a boat and we are going to walk up Clifford’s
Tower, near York Castle Museum. If there is time, we will go into
the museum to look inside the prison cells and walk around the old
buildings. Oh, I forgot to say that on Friday evening, we are going on
a ghost walk - cool! It starts by York Minster, takes you through
York’s old, narrow streets and then along the river. Saturday night,
we are dining in an Italian restaurant. Mmm, I love pasta!
